Happy Friday friends!

I can't believe I've been sooo MIA recently!! So much has been happening lately, and things have finally started to slow down, so I'm finally back. There's also so much that I need to fill you in on!

To start... I finally moved out of NYC on Wednesday and am back home in Texas. I arrived in Amarillo Wednesday afternoon, and will be here for two weeks with family and friends until I move to Austin! (Still can't believe how fast this move is approaching!!)

Moving out of New York was A LOT of work, but thankfully my sweet man made it so much easier by flying in from Texas to help me pack everything up. He also helped me give the city a proper goodbye! We spent last week hanging out with all of my friends, and eating at all of our favorite spots, plus visiting favorite areas and places around the city. I feel as though we walked all over Manhattan! that I'm back in Texas I still have SO MUCH that I'm working on for the blog. I have lots of great content coming your way from my last few weeks in New York, and can't wait for you to see all the upcoming posts. Including, some very special ones saying goodbye to the city. It was such a bittersweet feeling leaving Manhattan and the little Upper East Side studio that I called home for two years, but I'm beyond excited for what's to come and can't wait to share new adventures from Austin!

At Home with Capri Blue

Candle One: Capri Blue Volcano Pink Signature Jar
Candle Two: Capri Blue Volcano Jumbo Faceted Jar

If you've ever been a guest in my apartment, you'll notice that there is one special item that I always have plenty of in my home. That item being...candles. I am constantly lighting candles. From Spring and Summer, and all throughout Fall &'ll see not one but several candles burning in my home at a time.

There's just something so calming, relaxing, and romantic about burning candles. Not to mention, they make each and every room smell amazing.

If you're a candle lover like me, you must have a go-to scent. Everyone does!! My mom LOVES burning anything with vanilla or cinnamon. My boyfriend loves the smell of birch, or patchouli. I on the other hand, have a go-to scent that I've been burning for years, and that scent is volcano by Capri Blue

I was so thrilled to partner with Capri Blue on this post, because Volcano has always been one of my absolute favorite scents to burn at home, and friends and family recognize it the second they walk into my apartment! With it's enticing and calming blend of citrus and sugar notes, Volcano is the perfect scent to burn year-round.

Check out more by Capri Blue and head to their website to see several of their signature jars  in your favorite scents in colorful shapes and sizes!

Thank you to Capri Blue for sponsoring this post. xo
