Goodbye 2015

It has been such an exciting and busy year here on Leopard Martini, and it's so fun to look back at a few of my favorite posts from 2o15.

Looking back on this past year has brought me so much joy and gratitude, and I feel so happy with where I am right now in my life. 2015 was definitely a year of growth for me, and I feel so grateful for all that it has shown me and taught me. I'm so thankful as well for having been able to take this little blog of mine into new and exciting territories like NYC! Being able to live in the city of my dreams, and do what I love most has been the ultimate blessing that this year has given me.

Thank you SO much for following along, and for being so supportive and wonderful!

Here's to 2016 friends!
May this be the best year yet! ~

New Year in New York

With a new year right around the corner, I've been reflecting on a few things that made this last one so special. I've gone through so much growth and change over this past year in all areas of my life. From relationships changing, to moving to a new city and being far away from my family, to starting a new job and making new friends. Every single thing in my life I feel, has changed for me. And it actually all came at the exact perfect timing and disguised as the biggest blessing. Moving to New York has been the most incredible adventure so far, and one that I will never ever forget. My first few months here have been a dream, and I will always cherish this first year in NYC so much and am incredibly excited to see where my journey in the city will take me. I feel that New York is beginning to shape me into the woman I believe I was always meant to be. I feel so grateful for everything along the way, even for the heartbreak that this past year has brought. Without it I would have never started my New York story.

I believed before, but believe even more now with all of my heart that absolutely everything happens for a reason. All we need to do is continue to trust, have faith, and always always always follow where our heart is leading us. It will take us exactly where we are meant to be.

Thank you New York for helping me be strong, get out of my comfort zone, dream new dreams, and for giving me the biggest adventure ever. xo

Little Red Dress

Chicwish Red Lace Dress | ZARA Leather Jacket (Similar Here & Here

Every girl needs a go-to little red dress in her closet, and this one from Chicwish is definitely it for me! I absolutely love the beautiful red lace detailing, as well as the darling bow. It adds such a sweet and feminine touch. Red is definitely one of those colors that I'm wanting to wear more of this year, and trying not to limit it to just the holiday season. I can't wait to incorporate more of it into my wardrobe, and to share a few fun 'lady in red' looks with you in the new year!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Texas!

I'm feeling so happy to be able to spend the holiday at home in Texas with my family again this year. My mom always decorates our home so beautifully during Christmastime, and it's so fun to be able to see what she has done around the house this Christmas season. I hope you enjoy these little snaps of my family's home back in Texas. I also made sure to add a tiny piece of New York into the mix this year!

Wishing you a wonderful, joyful, and blessed holiday! xo

Christmas Eve Plaid

Forever 21 Plaid Shawl | Madewell Turtleneck | Express Pearl Droplet Earrings (Similar) | James Jeans Denim | Antonio Melani Boots | Michael Kors Cross-Body

Happy Christmas Eve!!

I picked this plaid shawl up at Forever 21 before I left NYC, and am loving it! I love the fun and festive plaid print, along with the coziness of it. I have a good feeling that it will definitely be doubling as a blanket later this evening!

I'm busy wrapping a few last minute gifts this morning, and then we're heading over to my uncle's beautiful home for a night with family! I'm so excited to be celebrating the holiday season in Texas again. I hope you have a wonderful and fun filled Christmas Eve! xoxo

As many of you know by now, I can never quite turn down a pretty dress. Apart from wearing a classic black or red for this holiday season, I've also been drawn to pretty pinks and pastels. This Shopbop dress is one of my absolute favorites, and I adore the beautiful crocheted lace details. I'm loving adding a little more pink into my wardrobe as well for the fun holiday festivities this year, and I've rounded up a few fun options for you below!
