I love dressing for winter weather, from cozy coats to blanket scarfs. Bundling up in my favorite pieces during the winter has always been so much fun to me. You better believe though, that when Texas graces us with an almost 70 degree day in January, I'm definitely going to be outside celebrating!
I wore this Express trapeze dress last week when the temps were just gorgeous out. I love how it's so comfortable and flowy, and perfect to throw on for a laid back day. It comes in this grey featured above as well as currant, carnation, blue, royal blue, green, coral, and black. I'm so tempted to snag one in every color! xx
So... I'm planning a move this year and have already began dreaming up how I want to decorate my new space. I love lots of natural light and crisp, clean spaces. I'm constantly inspired by interior design images on Pinterest and am always going a bit wild pinning my favorites.
After a fun weekend in Dallas with my mom, I wasn't quite ready to get back into the swing of things this morning. It's always a little hard to bounce back from the weekend, but I'm ready to take on another Monday and to tackle some fun projects that I'm working on for the blog!
Today's look is super cozy and laid back. It was windy and chilly while I was in Dallas, so I opted for total comfort while we hit the shops and ate at our favorite restaurants. This jeweled sweater from The LOFT has been on serious repeat lately and is currentlyan extra 40% off!I've paired it with almost everything, and decided to wear it over the weekend with a cozy cardigan to stay warm.
I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday! I feel as if this week has just flown by.
I've been living in cozy sweaters recently, and with the weather constantly changing in Texas... Mild winter temps one day and then snow another, it's caused me to stock up on the cold weather necessities like cozy knits! The LOFT is currently having their end-of-season sale, and you can stock up on loads of winter goodies like this sweater featured above. It's currently on sale for only $15! Make the most of these great deals while you can loves!
I hope you're having a great day so far, and I hope you had a lovely weekend. I was able to rest up and get a few things done, so I'm super excited about the extra day we had for MLK day.
This look is a little 'menswear' inspired and something that I've never really done before. I love branching out and experimenting with my personal style. I feel like it's constantly evolving, and with new trends and seasons, it's always fun to play with your look. There's something so chic and effortless about an oversized coat, and something I definitely plan to incorporate more into my wardrobe.

Happy Friday loves!
I hope you've had a wonderful and productive week. I can't wait for a long weekend to unwind and relax. I'm planning to spend a little time with friends and family this weekend, do a little bit of shopping with my mom, and catch up on some fun projects for the blog. What are your weekend plans?
In today's post, I'm wearing a pretty printed lace dress that I picked up at T.J. Maxx not long ago for under $20! I love the colors and the pretty lace details on the sleeves. I'm such a sucker for a pretty dress, and as soon as I saw the price I knew it was a no brainer! T.J.Maxx always has cute options if you're looking for a little something new to wear without having to break the bank. It's definitely one of my favorite places to shop for bargains (bags in particular!). I always try to go in every now and then to see what's new.
I apologize for a late post today, and for no post on Monday. I had the flu all weekend and am finally starting to kick it and feel 100% again. It's definitely been going around, but luckily I'm on some pretty strong meds and lots of honey and lemon tea!
Today I'm bringing you a casual weekend look with Old Navy. I love staying comfortable during the weekends, especially if I have a few errands to run. I've currently been living in Old Navy Pixie pants. They fit perfectly, and come in a variety of fun prints and colors. (I've already added a few different styles to my closet and can't wait to add more!) During the winter, I've been pairing them with cozy sweaters and soft turtlenecks plus my favorite comfy flats.
So, I always love wearing pastels in the winter. The soft shades of pinks and blues are so gorgeous during the cold weather months, especially when it snows! I always wear pastels year-round, and tend to gravitate more towards a pale pink shade. I've put together a list of a few favorite pieces from around the web that I'm currently eyeing, and hope to add to my closet soon!
Over the weekend, I decided to make a quick little trip to Old Navy to grab a present for a friend, and what did I stumble upon but an Amazing sale! The coats and sweaters were over 75% off, and I simply couldn't pass such a good deal up. One of my favorite purchases from the Old Navy sale was this pale pink, wool-blend coat. I love the pretty blush color, and wool-blend material. It's so cozy and perfect for those cold winter days. Not to mention the price was perfect at only 28! ($34 online) Several items are still on sale at Old Navy, in store and online.
