Anthro Dress

Forever 21 Hat, Anthropologie Dress, Gap Cross-body Bag, New Look Wedges,
Cameo Necklace From Italy

I can't believe it's already the last day of September. Even though the official first day of fall was last week, I don't think that I'm quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet. With having spent the beginning of the year in chilly England, and most of my summer in cold Iceland I have been loving the warm weather in Texas. (Fingers crossed that it continues to stay warm a bit longer!) I decided to say goodbye to September in this darling dress from Anthropologie. I love the fun and colorful print on it and plan to wear it into brisk fall weather with little booties.

Banana Republic Coat, Victoria's Secret PINK Tee, Express Skirt, BCBGeneration Heels, Hello Fab Briolette Earrings (same-different color), NARS lip color in 'Schiap'

A great pair of statement earrings can really take your look to that next level. I absolutely fell in love with these colorful earrings from Hello Fab the minute that I spotted them on their site. I have been on the hunt for a fun statement earring and felt that these were absolutely perfect. I love the different mix of colors and the unique shape.

Some of my favorite pieces right now on the site are: this adorable 'Kiss Me Blouse' with a fun lip print, this BEAUTIFUL 'Viva Lattice Necklace' that I hope to add to my jewelry collection soon, and this dainty and feminine bow ring that would look absolutely perfect paired with any outfit.

Fall Jumpsuit

Yoana Baraschi Jumpsuit (similar here and here), BCBGeneration Heels, New Look Envelope Clutch (similar), Juicy Couture Bracelet, Essie Nail Polish in 'Wicked' (one of my favorite fall shades)

So...it's still red hot in Texas which means I'm able to get away with wearing a few of my favorite summer pieces before the weather starts to cool off. This jumpsuit is one of my absolute favorites. I love a classic jumpsuit and when I spotted this Yoana Baraschi at a local boutique a few years ago, I knew it would be the perfect closet staple. Dressy jumpsuits are so versatile and not to mention very comfortable. You can wear them to the office, on a fun date night, or for a night out on the town with the girls.

Currently loving
1. This bandeau jumpsuit is darling with frill detail.
2. I love the color and sweet ruffle back on this one.
3. The pretty red on this jumpsuit is simply stunning for fall.
4. This classic black with pleat bust origami detail is just gorgeous.

Mini Elephants

Victoria's Secret PINK Top, Target White Skinnies (similar),
Local Boutique Elephant Scarf (Asos also has similar ones here and here), Michael Kors Watch

I love incorporating fun prints into a casual outfit and when I spotted this adorable elephant scarf at a local boutique I knew I had to have it. (You can purchase it here as well.) I own so many scarves and am constantly adding more to my collection, which unfortunately isn't the best thing for my bank. (Oops!) I simply love how versatile they can be, and how they can easily transform any outfit by adding a little something extra to your look. Whether you pair them with a simple tank in the summer or a cable knit sweater in the fall, you really can't go wrong with a cute printed scarf.

The Shirtdress

Velvet Heart Dress (similar), Only Hearts Lace Slip, Naughty Monkey Wedges
(similar here and hereCharlotte Russe Coral Bag (old-similar), Target Hat,
Juicy Couture Bracelet, Kat Von D Lipstick in 'Stiletto'

I was looking through my closet the other day and realized that I happen to own several shirt dresses. The one pictured above is one of my favorites. I love how you can easily throw them on for a day of running errands and they look so cute, yet casual at the same time. Not to mention they're also very comfy and lightweight, which is perfect right now since the weather is still very warm in Texas. I can't wait to wear it into fall with tights and heeled boots.

Harem Pants

Express stripe top (similar) and cross-body bag, Internacionale denim vest (similar),
Free People harem pants, Steve Madden wedges (same ones in black),
Pop of Chic necklace, NARS lipstick in 'Schiap' (my favorite color)

I couldn't go this summer without wearing my favorite harem pants from Free People, so I decided to pull them out yesterday for a day of browsing through the shops with my mom. I scored them on a massive sale about a year ago and was absolutely thrilled with them. I love the small flowers scattered throughout. It adds such a fun and flirty feel. Unfortunately, Ben isn't much of a fan of harem pants, but I figure that we're engaged now so if he isn't quite fond of them then he will just have to deal haha. (In some instances a man's opinion must be taken lightly when it comes to fashion.) Even though my sweet Ben has impeccable taste and is very stylish himself, there are just some things a girl has got to decide on her own, and tossing my harem pants was simply out of the question.

Tidbit: My friend Cynthia over at Pop Of Chic made this darling necklace and has several other gorgeous pieces that you can buy from her online shop.

Denim on Denim

Target chambray top (similar), Forever 21 jeans (similar) , Aldo bag,
Payless heels (old-similar), Michael Kors watch, Francesca's headband (similar)

I have been seeing denim on denim everywhere lately and finally decided to do my own take on this fun trend. I mixed a lighter shade of denim with a darker shade and added a fun pop with some classic red heels. I wanted to bring in a cute print as well and styled my hair around this fun leopard print headband that I found at Francesca's earlier this year. I Love keeping things simple, yet trendy and this is such a fun and easy look for fall.

I'm keeping things short and sweet today, because I'm off to celebrate my mom's birthday! I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday~

Floral Skirt

Old Navy sweater (similar-same color), Abercrombie skirt (old),
Gap cross-body bag, Gianni Bini wedges (similar), Francesca's earrings

I love wearing florals year-round, and am always drawn to a bright and cheery floral print. I never shop at Abercrombie, but I randomly went inside one day and spotted this adorable skirt. It reminded me of the beautiful and vibrant colors of Latin America, AND was on major sale so naturally I took it home with me! I paired it with a simply kelly green sweater from Old Navy and Gianni Bini white wedges.

Floral skirts that I'm loving:
1.) The pretty blue flowers on this skirt from ModCloth are so fresh and fun.
2.) RED by Valentino mixes a little boho + feminine on this darling meadow print skirt.
3.) I'm absolutely drooling over this vintage Chanel. Someday...

LM Tip: Pair your floral skirt with some cute tights, casual booties, & a cable knit sweater for an easy transition into fall weather.
