Jacquard Chic

{Express top (similar), shorts, and tights, Scarf found in Italy, Charlotte Russe Booties}

After spotting jacquard all over the runway during Fashion Week, I instantly wanted to add it to my closet for this season. That's precisely why when I saw these shorts at Express I knew I HAD to have them. I was wanting something in that gorgeous jacquard print and these were exactly what I had in mind. Luckily for me, they were also on sale! They make a perfect addition to any fashionista's closet who is looking to catch on to the jacquard trend. So pick some of these darling shorts up (in store or online) before they're all gone!

Have a wonderful Friday and a happy weekend!!

Sequins and Plaid

{Old Navy plaid top(similar) and coat, T.J. Maxx sweater, Forever 21 sequin skirt (similar) and boots}

One of my all-time favorite pairings has always been to mix sequins with plaid. It's such a perfectly, chic combo for this time of year. The Holiday season is all about things that sparkle and shimmer and I try to incorporate both into my wardrobe as much as possible. (Any excuse to wear sequins and I'm in!) Several stores are selling everything sequins right now from skirts, to shorts, to dresses...Check out places like Forever 21, Zara, Topshop, and Free People for a fun/great selection on Holiday inspired outfits as well as key staples to add to your wardrobe!

Currently Coveting

After I first spotted these sequin pumps on my favorite blog (Cupcakes and Cashmere) I almost lost it. These shoes are absolutely perfect! They can add a little bit of glitz and glam to any Holiday outfit and are simply divine to look at. As with all amazing shoes there tends to be a catch which in this case, happens to be the price. If you're looking to purchase this gorgeous pair you'll have to pay a pretty penny if you want to see them beautifully displayed in your closet.  You can also choose to take my route and simply pray that Santa will be extra giving this year as well as agree with you in thinking just how cute these shoes will look on your feet. Thank you J.Crew for giving me yet another reason to love you.

P. S. - Starting every Tuesday, I will be showing you a new item that I am currently coveting. Stay tuned for next week's post to see another drool worthy find!

Wine Not

{Loft sweater, Charlotte Russe lace top(new), Just USA jeans,
Express boots and earrings}

I have been on the hunt for a rich burgundy top for this season for what seems like ages now and was beyond thrilled when I spotted this adorable lace one at Charlotte Russe last week. This dark shade is absolutely gorgeous and not to mention a total bargain! If you're looking for a wine colored top as well, I would definitely recommend making a stop at your nearest Charlotte Russe. It's a perfect addition to any fashionista's closet for this Winter.

Peach and Lace

{Express long sleeve lace top, Old Navy quilted vest
Coach boots and bag, Charlotte Russe necklace}

I recently purchased this quilted vest from Old Navy and loved it so much that I decided to get it in white as well. It is so warm and comfy and looks perfect paired over any long sleeve top. Cable Knits and Fall Leaves

{Thrifted sweater, Express crochet shorts, faux leather jacket(in butterscotch),
scarf, and tightsForever 21 boots}

It's the middle of November, and I have already managed to start quite a big collection of tights. I've been organizing them and admiring them, while patiently waiting and wondering when the weather will decide to get cold. I was incredibly excited yesterday when I finally had the chance to wear some! (Thank you 40 degree weather) During these cold months, I practically live in tights and leggings. They're so warm and fun to accessorize an outfit with. They come in so many different designs, textures, and colors. So far, I have snagged some from Express, Charlotte Russe, and T.J. Maxx. Stores like Forever 21 and H&M also have some super cute ones and at great prices!

Pop of Pink

{Victoria's Secret PINK tee, Charlotte Russe cardigan and skirt,
Express scarf, Gap cross-body bag, Coach booties}

I have the feeling that you may have already noticed this, but I absolutely love wearing bright colors. This rings especially true in the Fall and Winter months. Sometimes when the cooler weather starts to roll around it gives off a very blah feeling, and makes you want to just stay at home with a cup of hot cocoa and your t.v. switched on to the Lifetime channel for all of those Christmas movies.

So when I do decide to finally pry myself out of my warm comforter to hit the city for some holiday shopping or to run errands, I tend to throw on a bright or rich colored sweater before walking out the door. It has been proven that bright colors help to put you in a cheerful mood, and others around you absorb it as well.

Now don't get me wrong, I still love dark colors for the Fall/Winter. They can be gorgeous and fun as well, but adding a little pop of color to your outfit is always an easy and fun way to add some extra cheer to your day :).

R&R

Hey loves,
I know some of you may be wondering why I haven't posted in a while. I decided to take some time off from blogging in order to refocus and regroup. I have been hard at work with my new job and have been spending a lot more time with my friends and family. My lovely boyfriend came back from playing professional soccer in Iceland as well and is here with me in the states visiting. It has been so nice to have him back and I have been enjoying every minute of our time together. It feels good to take a break every once in a while from something that you love. Whether it is a job, hobby, sport, or whatever it may be... It's always good to take a step back and breath every now and then. It helps bring clarity and allows to clear your mind. Sometimes we tend to get caught up in things, so mini vacations are always nice ;).

But don't worry, I will be back this coming week on the blog with so many new things for you guys! I can't wait to show you some new Fall/Winter outfits and cute DIY's. I'm really looking forward to getting back in the routine of blogging. I love making new posts and sharing with you the many things that I inspire me.

See you soon! :) xoxo
